Word coming in from Warner Media and HBO Max headquarters that the upcoming heist thriller film set in the zombie apocalyptic world titled “Army of The Dead” has been given a release date. Warner Bros. has also announced that another film with the name “Reminiscence” has also been scheduled to be released later this year.
Army of The Dead stars Dave Bautista in the lead role whose objective is to successfully execute the plan of robbing a vault that contains some serious dollars. Set in the post-apocalyptic world which is overtaken by zombies. The crew behind the film includes Zack Snyder in the director’s chair and the crew within the film has to help Dave Bautista against the dreading zombies.
The film was announced a couple of years ago with writing and casting taking off shortly after. Dave Bautista was cast in the leading role. Filming began in 2019 with heavy action sequences and graphic violence. Filming was completed in late 2019. A few months later Zack Snyder got the green light on his unreleased and unfinished Justice League with Warner Media handing him over 25 Million Dollars to craft finishing touches to the film.
The film “Reminiscence” directed by Lisa Joy wife of Jonathan Nolan who is the crew behind Westworld is all set to bring science fiction to life with Hugh Jackman fronted Reminiscence. The story follows in a world where the people who don’t have much time to live get a chance to visit or experience a memory of their desire when suddenly things take a turn for worse.
The film also stars Mission Impossible alum, Rebecca Ferguson, in the supporting role. Reminiscence will be released on September 3, 2021, on HBO Max and in theatres as well.
