2017’s hit action comedy film The Hitman’s Bodyguard generated heavy positive reviews on the streaming giant Netflix as it was a Netflix original film. The film entered the production phase in 2019 with the title The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. The cast included Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson, and Salma Hayek.
