DCEU – Warner Bros’ Black Adam Adds Two New Cast Members As Filming Goes Underway

Warner Bros' highly anticipated DCEU entry Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan and Noah Centineo has begun production on the origin story of a powerful slave that is emancipated from slavery after 5000 years in chains. The announcement came in the form of picture shared by the director of the film Jaume Collett Serra wherein he showcased a clapperboard with the name and theme of Black Adam on it.

Warner Bros’ highly-anticipated DCEU entry Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, and Noah Centineo has begun production on the origin story of a powerful slave that is emancipated from slavery after 5000 years in chains. The announcement came in the form of pictures shared by the director of the film Jaume Collett Serra wherein he showcased a clapperboard with the name and theme of Black Adam on it.

Aldis Hodge was cast as Hawkman a couple of months ago with Dwayne Johnson being tapped for over a decade now. Other cast members will include Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher. Two other cast members were announced in the form of Sarah Shahi and Bodhi Sobongui.

 

The DCEU is on a rise as this year fans witnessed and were served what they have been asking for 3 years now Zack Snyder’s Justice League did the justice for them. The DCEU is also set to bring out the highly anticipated sequel for hit 2016 film Suicide Squad with the title The Suicide Squad starring an ensemble roaster of characters played by Hollywood’s most familiar faces like Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Joel Kinnaman, Pete Davidson, Peter Capaldi, Sylvester Stallone, Taika Watiti and many more.

The year 2022 will serve as the biggest year of the DCEU lineup as Robert Pattinson’s take on the caped crusader is set to come out on March 4, 2021. That will be followed by Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam that is scheduled to smash theatres on July 29, 2021. November will see the rise and birth of our beloved Scarlet Speedster The Flash starring Ezra Miller and December will bring out the king of Atlantis for his second journey as Aquaman 2 starring Jason Momoa.

There are many other films slated for the future of DCEU like Shazam Fury of The Gods and Booster Gold along with Blue Beetle, Wonder Woman 3, and Supergirl.
