Last year the Warner Media announced that it will be coming in with its own streaming platform titled HBO Max that will compete against the streaming giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+.

Shortly after the announcement of HBO Max, creative people all over the world started pitching ideas about the projects that they want to bring out on the newcomer. One of the projects was expected to come out of Ridley Scott‘s production house Scott Free.

Raised by Wolves became the very first original of HBO Max with a creative team including the cinematic genius of Ridley Scott.

Raised by Wolves focused on two androids named Mother and Father who were tasked to raise a human child after the Earth was destroyed and human embryos were preserved and a new planet was the home of all the alive species.

The androids slowly started learning that raising a human child surely is a tough thing when there is a political and religious crisis in the world where they are all living in. The show became a massive hit with the viewers praising the story’s setting, CGI, acting, and screenplay.

The show was renewed for a season 2 shortly after the grand reception of season 1. Now the news just dropped stating that the high stakes science fiction thriller has begun production on season 2 with Ridley Scott overseeing the project as an Executive Producer and there is a slight chance that he might direct some episodes as he did for the first season.
