Some of the shows were greenlit by HBO while the others were discarded or scrapped due to creative deficiencies. But there were 5 greenlit shows in the early stages of production on the network.

The first show titled House of The Dragon entered production a year ago with writing and casting taking off shortly after. The second show was titled Flea Bottom that is intended to be based on the largest slum network in King’s Landing. The third show will focus on the Sea Snake a character who is the master of the pirate armada. The fourth show will shed light on a female character and fleet of 10,000 ships. The fifth show will bring out the tales of Dunk and egg and lastly an animated series is in the work from the creators.

Recent news from the fantasy world states that filming has begun on the hotly anticipated House of The Dragon when the lead cast members Emma Darcy and Matt Smith were spotted portraying their characters on a beach. The paparazzi images sparked a storm over the Targaryen disguise of the characters. The filming is expected to wrap up at the ending of this year with the show expected to hit HBO next year.

Another news in terms of filming commencement hints at the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ funded world war drama Masters of The Air that is off the ground with the looks of the constructed sets in the USA. Masters of the Air will focus on the air force pilots and their heroic service in the world war. The series serves as a companion to The Pacific and Band of Brothers.

The audience can expect the series to hit Apple Tv+ next year.
