The world of Hitmen and Assassins is expanding as the iconic action franchise titled John Wick is returning for the fourth installment before it sets out for a fifth and a final one. John Wick series starred by Keanu Reeves and helmed by Chad Stahleski first hit fans in 2014 when a dark soul named John Wick went on a revenge spree only to invite war upon himself in the second installment titled John Wick 2. The third installment in the series sheds light on John as he violates a huge protocol that brings the bounty on him.

The fourth film in the series will narrate the events carried out after the chaos of that bounty. And the final film in the series will put an end to all of this facade. A female-led film is in development titled Ballerina with potential cast members to include Chloe Grace Moretz and finally a television show based on the hotel chains that regulate the flow of mercenaries and exterminators titled The Continental is also in the early stages of development.

Director Chad Stahleski took to Instagram to announce the commencement of the camera work on the fourth film. Lionsgate officially confirms that the filming is underway.

In other Hollywood news, the DCEU is gearing up for the next year’s slate of movies as Aquaman 2 has begun filming. The confirmation comes from the Instagram account of James Wan who posted a picture of an Ice Castle that will probably be used in the film Aquaman 2 The Lost Kingdom. This year will bring out a soft sequel to 2016’s hit action team-up film The Suicide Squad starring Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Joel Kinnaman, and Pete Davidson. Next year will venture into The Batman standalone film along with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, Ezra Miller’s The Flash, and Aquaman 2 from James Wan and Jason Momoa.
