The upcoming highly anticipated Marvel Studios film that is set to be the very first film of phase four-category is delayed once again and will now release on Disney+ premier access on July 9, 2021. The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour in the lead roles.
Announced in 2019 that there will be a standalone film centered around the character of Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow that will chronicle her journey to becoming an original six avenger. After her unprecedented death in Avengers Endgame, the creative team came up with a plan to tell the story of the titular character.
Sources have told that the movie will not only essay her journey as a Russian spy but will go down into her family and her past which will lead to the passing of the baton of Black Widow to her sister played by Florence Pugh. Florence will be expected to portray a new black widow in the upcoming marvel entities.
The film that was slated for a May 2020 release saw many delays because of the ongoing pandemic and has yet again seen one more of it which will mark its final delay before finally coming out on July 9, 2021, on Disney+.
Marvel fans are currently hooked up with the Falcon and The Winter Soldier series that is the second web series of Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Four category with WandaVision being the very first one. Another film in the series titled Shang Chi has been delayed to September 3, 2021, which was intended for a July release but that spot has taken by Black Widow now. The news of both these delays just came in from Marvel headquarters.
In terms of another web series, Loki comes out on June 11. Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel are currently under production but will surely drop later this year along with films like The Eternals and Spider-Man No Way Home.
