Netflix is partnering up with The Russo Brothers for their upcoming globe-trotting action thriller film that will be directed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe veterans. The Russo brothers who are quite famous for their work in hit Marvel films like Captain America The Winter Soldier, Captain America Civil War, Avengers Infinity War, and Avengers Endgame are reteaming with Netflix for another action blockbuster.
Last year The Russo brothers came up with a hitman action film Extraction fronted by Chris Hemsworth who also has a history with the Marvel veterans. The film was directed by Sam Hargrave who has been working with Marvel as a stunt coordinator for quite a while now. The film was released on Netflix when the entire world was on lockdown and succeeded in collecting heavy praise and admiration for the action sequences.
This year The Russo brothers are coming with a romantic action war film led by Tom Holland another Marvel alum who is all set to lead the film, Cherry. Tom Holland is currently filming his part of the upcoming Spider-Man No Way Home.
The Gray Man will be yet another stint for the Russo brothers who this time will be joining and reuniting with another Marvel hunk named Chris Evans who is known for his portrayal of Captain America. The screenplay and story of the film will be written by long-time Marvel scribes Christopher Markus and Steven McFeely.
Other cast members of the film include Ryan Gosling who will be portraying the role of a freelance assassin and Chris Evans will be his archnemesis as a CIA agent. Indian actor Dhanush has a vital role in the film along with Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, and Ana De Armas.
Newcomer Rege Jean Page who shot to fame with the latest Netflix hit Bridgerton has been cast in the film along with Billy Bob Thornton. The film is scheduled to begin filming earlier next year in Los Angeles USA.
