Peacemaker Release Date and True Lies Show Announced

Word coming in from DC headquarters that the upcoming James Gunn fronted John Cena led Suicide Squad spinoff series titled "Peacemaker" is expecting to air its episodes in January next year.

Word coming in from DC headquarters that the upcoming James Gunn fronted John Cena led Suicide Squad spinoff series titled “Peacemaker” is expecting to air its episodes in January next year.

Peacemaker is an anti-hero who is scheduled to make its very first appearance in the next DCEU installment titled The Suicide Squad that serves as a sequel to the original suicide squad released in 2016.

 

James Gunn was hired to write and direct the film and the show who took the character out of the movie to tell his own story and how he ended up in the suicide squad.

Filming is currently under production with James Gunn in charge. DC has a lot of spellbinding shows under its belt, the most popular ones are Arrow and The Flash.

Both of these shows were the handles of the popular shared universe called Arrowverse, which now has a big library with shows like Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning and Batwoman.

There is another shared fictional universe on HBO Max which ties shows like Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and Stargirl. These two adjacent universes are part of a larger multiverse.

Apart from the existing shows DC is all set to bring in fresh off the boat shows to the table with one of them being Peacemaker and others being Justice League Dark, Green Lantern, and Gotham City Police Department.

DC is all set to rock the world of entertainment in 2021 with Arrowverse shows and HBO Max shows along with their upcoming films like Zack Snyder’s Justice League and The Suicide Squad.

Another word coming in from Hollywood production houses announcing that a “True Lies” show based on the film itself directed by James Cameroon is in the works.

True lies serves as a major pop culture icon film which was released in 1997 directed by James Cameroon starring Arnold Schwarzenneger and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The reports about the storyline and cast or the crew of the show are currently being kept under tight wraps.
