Marvel Cinematic Universe alums Sam Hargrave and Jake Gyllenhaal are teaming up for a brand new action-thriller titled Combat Control that is set to be distributed by MGM studios who have been quite famous for distributing high profile action films like The James Bond Series. The film will focus on a special operative of the united states marine.
Sam Hargrave rose to fame with his 2020 action flick Extraction where he served as the director of the film and Chris Hemsworth starred as the lead of the feature. Both the gentlemen have had a history with the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Sam has been a long-time stunt co-ordinator in the superhero factory and Chris is globally recognized as the god of thunder Thor after appearing in multiple films as the character itself.
Now a word just came out of the office of Sam Hargrave stating that his next outing as a director will come in the form of Combat Control a film based on US Marines wherein Jake Gyllenhaal will serve as the lead of the film. Jake who also has a history with Marvel films as he played the main antagonist in 2019’s Spider-Man Far From Home currently has his hands full as he is filming for Michael Bay’s action thriller Ambulance and later he will be joining hands with Denis Villeneuve once again for a television series called The Son.
Sam Hargrave did an extremely good job with Extraction as he was the director, stunt coordinator, and cinematographer of the film by managing all these three roles perfectly. Jake on the other hand has quite an experience as a military man as he has been in films like Jarhead and Source Code.
To be able to witness these two men collaborating for a big screen will be a gift for all the action lovers.
