The latest entry in the ever-growing and fan-favorite universe titled Arrowverse came in the form of Superman & Lois who both made an appearance and were in the list of recurring characters in the show Supergirl. A couple of months ago it was announced that the show Supergirl will be coming to an end with its season 6 that is scheduled for a May release.

But with that cancellation news came a surprise that went by announcing that Superman and his lady love Lois will be getting their own show on the CW that would also result in the expansion of the Arrowverse.

The 2 hour-long premieres of Superman & Lois generated heavy positive reviews which immediately resulted in the speculations that the show would get an early renewal. Well, that optimism came true as The CW just announced that the newcomer Superman & Lois is getting a season 2 renewal just after dropping 2 episodes of the very first season.

The current Arrowverse slate appears to have massive game-changers like Batwoman that is currently airing its season 2, Black Lightning also airing its latest season, Superman & Lois is on season 1, The Flash comes back for the seventh season on March 2, Supergirl airs in May and Legends of Tomorrow is also expected to drop its episodes of season 6 in May.

There are multiple DC projects currently in the early stages of development some of them include HBO Max‘s Justice League Dark, Green Lantern, and John Constantine.

Apart from these shows, there are also a number of shows that air on HBO Max and are currently under production for their new season, shows like Titans, Doom Patrol, and Stargirl.

James Gunn is busy working on his upcoming Peacemaker series that will see John Cena reprise his role as the titular character from The Suicide Squad that is slated for an August release.
