The Flash on CW is gaining speed and slowly nearing its mid-season break with a mid-season finale. Up to now, 6 episodes have been released in this season of the Scarlet Speedster storyline contributing to this year’s Arrowverse timeline. On the other hand shows like Batwoman, Black Lightning and Supergirl are doing their part in bringing out as much as they can for the Arrowverse.
Let us take a look at what episodes 5 and 6 of Flash season 7 brought us.
Episode 5: This episode focuses on a new villain who has the ability to figure out the fear of the other person and use it against them in order to traumatize them. Team Flash encounters a tough time when they come in contact with this meta villain as they all keep hallucinating about their worst nightmares.
But team flash comes up with a solution to deflect the coming fear into the other direction and register victory of that fear monster. Team flash goes home happy only to find out their next trouble that an FBI Agent is looking for killer frost as the main suspect and moreover a culprit in many crimes.
Episode 6: This episode focuses on Cisco and his teammate trying to build a new speed force as they are struck with an energy-time wave and are sent back in the 90s. Both of them figure out ways to undo the cosmic effect but someone just keeps on pulling the strings that result in a time loop with the day repeating itself over and over again.
Both of them confront the time god who was the reason behind this time loop and they both stop him before he does any more damage to the force. They both successfully build a new time force machine that brings them both to the original time. The effect that had brought chaos on almost every citizen of Star City was reduced.
