The Walking Dead is back to pull us back into the zombie-fed world where survival skills aren’t enough to survive through the zombie apocalypse. The Walking Dead began in 2010 with the intent of delivering a zombie thriller survival show and did manage to do it till the second season. But from season 3 onwards it became a good vs evil kind of show where the objective was to kill off the bad guys.

Every season saw a new villain creating problems for our beloved cast members which eventually led to the step-by-step demise of our favorite characters with Steven Yeun’s character being one of them. Negan played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan killed Steven Yeun’s character which made him the biggest and baddest villain of the series.

Negan was captured by the Alexandrians and was held a prisoner for some years finally the characters gave him a chance for redemption by asking him to eliminate season 10’s main villain Alpha. Negan succeeds in killing Alpha and returns back to his prison as a free prisoner.

Episode 17: This episode witnesses Negan sharing intense tension between him and Maggie who was the wife of Glen played by Steven Yeun whom Negan killed in season 6. Maggie cannot forgive after what he did to her husband. A new threat is lurking in the woods but sources are scarce as to who is pulling the strings this time. Crescent is the new villain who could be setting a great example of leading the charge after the fall of his mentor Alpha.

A sniper was introduced in the episode who managed to kill off some of Daryl’s teammates and later had to blow himself off with a grenade after he was caught by Maggie.

The Walking Dead season 10 will run for 5 more episodes before coming to a break. The filming for the 11th and the final season of the show has begun which is expected to air later this year.
